Artist Statement
Isavelle is a Fine Art student at Goldsmiths University London. Their practice is autobiographical, focussing on the queer body experience and incorporating materiality through relevant sculptural media ranging from floristry to textiles.
Sustainability is very integral, as is exploring new mediums. Isavelle’s research-based practice revolves around feminist histories of textile making and wearing, they are fascinated by the tactility of physical ‘craft’ in the digital world that is rapidly consuming us all.
